NFC Hosts Fall 2025 Transfer Takeover: Food, Fun and Future Opportunities

MADISON, FL – North Florida College invites its students to explore their next academic chapter at the NFC Transfer Takeover, a high-energy event bringing together four-year college and university representatives, food trucks, and career guidance.

Set for Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 4–6 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at NFC’s Colin P. Kelly Fitness and Wellness Center, the event is designed to help NFC students connect with four-year colleges and universities, ask questions about transfer options and learn about career pathways after graduation. From top Florida universities to regional and specialized programs, these institutions will be on campus to answer questions about admissions, scholarships, and career pathways.

“Transfer Takeover is a chance for students to see all the possibilities that open up after NFC,” said Snowey Hagan, Career and Transfer Center Advisor. “Meeting directly with university representatives helps students take the next step with confidence and excitement.”

What Students Can Expect

University & College Representatives – Learn about admissions, programs of study, and scholarship opportunities. University of Florida, Florida State University, Florida A&M University, Florida Gateway College, Rollins, Florida International University, University of North Florida, University of South Florida, Keiser University, Thomas University, North Florida College Allied Health, New College of Florida, Troy University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Career Source North Florida.

Career and Workforce Pathways – Explore how NFC’s programs connect to high-demand jobs.

Nursing & Allied Health Focus – Meet recruiters and advisors ready to guide students on advanced health science options.

Food & Fun – Students can grab a bite from popular local food trucks like: Junkie Fries, LLC, Brandons Smokehouse and Kajun Flame. Enjoy a free nacho bar, making the event both informative and festive.
